Fierce Trust
If you could do anything in the world and not fail, what would you do?

This is a question that can literally change your life. If you take the time to answer it, go for the thing that you would do.
When I was younger my answer might have been to buy a house or a car or go to Disney World. You know, the innocent answers. My 3-year-old niece obviously trusts us enough to just throw her in the air!
We need to be more like her. Trust the process, and just go for it.
What’s the point of living if you aren’t doing exactly what you love each and every day?
I thought about this a few years ago when I was trying to figure out what I was actually doing with my life. I knew that I wasn’t truly happy. There was this sense of annoyance, frustration, and anxiety every single day. Happiness didn’t come my way often. Pockets of sunshine weren’t present. Peace and joy definitely weren’t being experienced. I was sad. And no one knew it. No one knew how I truly felt. Some people saw little glimpses of “the real Kellye” but they didn’t see all the dark stuff. I wore a mask. I kept it all in.
A few months ago, I attempted to have a conversation with some of the people who are closest to me. I asked the question, “If you could do anything in the world and not fail what would you do?” The responses varied. Some completely ignored the message. Some responded. Some answers were fun and playful. Some were heartfelt and deep.
After asking the initial question and a response was given, I then posed a second question–what are you doing right now to “do the thing” you would do if you couldn’t fail? Now these are the responses that made me feel something. Some laughed it off as they could never attempt to achieve the wish or desire. Some didn’t respond at all. Some conversations led to deeper conversations. Some conversations ended abruptly because I pushed too far. I didn’t realize that I had pushed too far–until it was too far. I didn’t realize that I had asked too many questions–until I did. I had no idea that the conversation was too personal for some people.
I have learned that I really will have a conversation about anything and I’m open to the “hard questions” and “challenging conversations” Only because it makes me think. It makes me use my brain. It helps me continue to grow as a person–as a friend, daughter, sister, coworker, aunt, cousin, and more.
The trust is with myself and my faith. Having FIERCE TRUST will make you do ALL the things your heart desires. It will give you the confidence to talk to the person, go on the job interview, wear the clothes, take the trip, trust “The One”, and so much more. Having fierce trust is strutting through the world without a care about what “might” happen. It’s trusting that things will happen as they should.

If I could do anything in the world and not fail I would have in-depth conversations about life every single day. If I could do anything in the world and not fail, I would share my experiences and stories with people and feel the love and support flowing through each of us. If I could do anything in the world and not fail, I would love so hard.
So what would you? If you could do anything I the world, what would that be? What is keeping you from doing IT right now?
Girl, get out of your own way! You can do it! Trust your inner guide. Trust yourself! Have some FIERCE TRUST!
Share your answers with someone. If you don’t have anyone to share them with, then share them with me! I’m so open to listening and learning.
I love you!
